This highly complex project is the flagship of the local municipality. It is packed with high specification equipment ranging from communication systems, specialist electrical installations, renewable energy and fire prevention.
It is a great addition for the local community to deal with all matters relating to emergencies in the area. It also includes a new road section linking up with the existing National road network.

PROJECT DETAILS:
- Sub-District Disaster Management Centre, Mpumalanga
- Consulted on behalf of Van Vuuren and Partners (Pty) Ltd
- The project boasts a new emergency vehicle bay, new offices with reception area, new operations-, and tactical room and new guard house. External areas are covered by brick pavers with minimalist landscaping.
- Other amenities are staff entertainment areas, communal recreation areas, sleeping quarters, ablution facilities, emergency standby plant areas and store facilities. The building is contained within a high security fence overlooked by a new 40m high telecommunications mast.
