STAGE 1: INCEPTION
- Assisting in developing a clear project brief
- Attending the project initiation meetings
- Advising on the procurement policy for the project
- Advising on other consultants and services required
- Defining the consultant’s scope of work and services required including the project quantity surveyor’s
- Concluding the terms of the client/quantity surveyor professional services agreement with the client
- Advising on appropriate financial design criteria
- Advising on economic factors affecting the project
- Providing necessary information within the agreement scope of the project to the other consultants
STAGE 2: CONCEPT AND VIABILITY
- Agreeing the documentation programme with the principal consultant and other professional consultants

- Reviewing working drawings for compliance with the approved budget of construction cost and/or financial viability
- Preparing tender documentation for both principal and subcontract procurement, including bills of quantities.
