A couple with a growing family wanted to put a modern twist on their Pretoria townhouse. The kitchen needed the most renovation work and this required some inspiration. The living area which is compact, as most town houses are, needed to be opened up a lot more. This was to give the home owners the feeling of a large, open living space.
The end result after a few consultations with the home owners; was a modern, convenient kitchen space and living area fit for the needs of a growing family.

PROJECT DETAILS:
This little semi-detached unit in the Sanglen residential estate was altered by demolishing the old kitchen wall, the lounge was opened up adjoining a quaint little open plan kitchen.
Alterations to this house include: New kitchen, new floor coverings throughout, new guest bathroom as well as en-suite bathroom, new plumbing as well as pipework throughout.
New larger folding stacking doors which leads to a new AL-fresco dining area with a new intimate garden.
Re-decorations and repaint to interior rooms, corridor, stair shaft.
